People I Love
All of these people help me.
Most I know personally, but not all.
I hope some can help you.
Amy Lewis, L.Ac., M.Ac, Dipl.Ac
A licensed and National Board Certified acupuncturist, Amy is so much more. She also leads and supports an annual 21 day cleanse every January. Her instincts are dead on (or else my pulses are very revealing), and my time with her has been integral to my wellness.
Catherine Collautt, BA, MA, PhD
PHILOSOPHER, WRITER, METAPHYSICIAN & MANIFESTING CONSULTANT
Her academic bent jives with my own and distinguishes her work. Her knowledge is uniquely vast, making her insights valuable. I love each and every one of her monographs (available here). Her understanding of energy and her perceptions of blocks have been instrumental in completely changing how I write positive affirmations, solving a dilemma I've struggles with for over a decade. I'm grateful for her work and acumen.
I worked with Chela for about a year, and I learned so much. Including the fact that just because we have an insight doesn't mean behavior changes. But with practice and great metaphors, she's a catalyst and helps people bloom. (Her home page video includes my testimonial, at minute 1:11).
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER & BLOGGER
Intimate, down to earth fashion blog. Lots of laughter and joy and inspiriting photographs.
Holli Thompson, CHHC, CNHP
NUTRITIONIST AND LIFESTYLE COACH
A certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified Natural Health Professional, Holli is also a recently published author of Discover Your Nutritional Style. She's been my nutritionist for years and is particularly sensitive not only to different styles but also to different limits and abilities. She is very creative and her online recipes and blogs is one I check many times a week.
Founder of Izaca Productions, I've been a fortunate beneficiary of Isabelle's talent as a documentary filmmaker and photographer. Her films portray camel races in Qatar, street writers in New Orleans, tango dancers in Lebanon. My favorites are Baffle Their Minds with Bullsh*t and God Bless America. She now studying for her PhD in filmmaking and through her new website, creating video shorts for entrepreneurs.
She helps grown ups clean their rooms, as she puts it. She specializes in offices and loves organizing paper. She has helped me shed and streamline my office, but also many other aspects of my life. She is full of resources and full of energy and an absolute pleasure to work with.
Keith Miller, LicSW., LcSW-C
Illness strains relationships, none more so than with our families. Keith Miller is a licensed clinical social worker, and certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. He specializes in relationship issues, and his knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy as well as breathing techniques have helped me cope with anger, despair, disappointment and sadness. He is the author of the forthcoming book, Love Under Repair and writes a terrific blog too.
Leo Babauta is a simplicity blogger and author. He created Zen Habits, a Top 25 blog named so by Time magazine with 260,000 subscribers and is the author of several books and online course. I love his blog. I started a tea ritual because of him, but my favorite post is his guide to creating a minimalist home.
MAKE UP ARTIST
Every single one of my girlfriends becomes obsessed with Lisa Eldridge because of her incredible ability to translate make up trends and know-how and communicates this via her accessible tutorials. She soooo uppped my make up game, even with her no-make-up-make-up look.
An energy medicine healer, Marie bridges conventional and holistic medicine. She identifies stagnant energy - a sign of disease - and moves it out of the body, making room for healthier energy to work its healing magic. Her book, Intuitive Self-Healing, and our work together has been eye opening and life changing.
Racheal is wicked smart and insightful. Her encyclopedic knowledge never ceases to amaze. She knows all sorts of resources to get stuff done and addresses the full spectrum of the entrepreneur's needs. She has been a rocket booster to get my business finally launched. I couldn't have done it without her.
